Justin Hachman, Co-Owner, Lead Guide, SUP & Kayak Instructor

Originally from Southern Ontario, Justin has made his home in the majestic Robson Valley. A world traveler, Justin has guided in Japan and Canada and kayaked and surfed in Wales. He has found the best of all adventure sports in the Valley with its unparalleled access to amazing whitewater in the summer and skiing in the winter. In 2022 Justin became a partial owner of Stellar Descents so he could continue to do what he loves the most, which is bringing people into the wilderness and showing them what joy adventure can bring them.

Vanessa, Co-Owner SUP Instructor

Vanessa came to the Robson Valley from Southern Ontario. Years ago she moved out west searching for adventure and the outdoors and she’s never looked back. She now lives on a small acreage in Tete-Jaune where she raises chickens, grows vegetables and works as a physiotherapist. She loves the Robson Valley for the incredible access to mountain biking, hiking, and pristine rivers. She uses her teaching experience to progress SUP students at the level they are comfortable at.

Brooke, Raft Guide, Kayak & SUP Instructor

Brooke came to the Robson Valley from Maple Ridge, BC. She has been enjoying life outdoors since she can remember, and life on the river since September 2022. After her first week learning how to whitewater kayak, she was hooked. Throughout the summer she can be spotted having the time of her life on the back of a raft or in a kayak, and throughout the winter she can be spotted daydreaming about the summer. She has been involved in Girl Guides since she was nine years old and now is a leader for a unit in Kamloops. Through Girl Guides, she has been able to travel around much of British Columbia and experience some of the most beautiful places the province has to offer.

Kinga, Raft Guide, SUP Instructor

Kinga is originally from Poland but has spent her recent years in Japan, raft guiding in the summers and ski guiding in the winters. You’ll find her crushing trails at the bike park any spare minute she gets.

Erin, Raft Guide

Erin is now a Valemount local and an experienced raft guide from Jasper National Park. She can kayak, bike, raft and ski all with an easy going attitude and smile on her face.
